DeeDee’s Ice Cream
DeeDee’s Ice Cream has a unique mantra: the best creations come from sharing your passions as a local and global community. Many hands that go into making a great meal, all the way from the ingredients to the recipe- chocolatiers, farmers, coffee growers- enable DeeDee’s to make delightful, fresh, and always top-quality treats.
The website design needed to echo the DeeDee’s Ice Cream values. Friendly, warm and inviting, while fresh, cool, and airy. A playful illustration style was fused with professional food photography to meld the hand-crafted sentiment with the top-quality product. Really, all we needed to do was show the ice cream- there’s no denying it looks delicious- the real challenge was to get the website to have flavour.
Check out the Ice Cream page for the nifty “flavours” slider. Scoops are pulled randomly and displayed on hand-drawn spoons. As you click the navigation arrows, new flavours are revealed. Delicious discoveries!
